Characteristics of components of a drum mix plant
1. Cold aggregate conveying system. Add primary screen device, and set the primary vibrating screen at the entrance of tilted belt feeding conveyor, which can reject supersized stone materials entering into the drying drum and reduce the amount of waste, and save the fuel, it increases heat efficiency and ensures the smooth and reliable function of drying drum, hot aggregate elevator and vibrating screen, and prolongs the service life of the machine, and lower the drum mix plant price.
2. Aggregate drying drum. We adopt advanced technology design and ensure that the discharge temperature, heat efficiency, fuel consumption can reach the expected standard. Tilting structure drum, adopt bearing low installation, center of gravity is low and function is smooth and reliable. Moreover, the drying drum adopts support wheel friction drive, which has the features of smooth running, less noise and synchronous drive of four electric motors, and we adopt advanced hang shaft reducer and it is driven by belt transmission, which can decrease impact force.
3. Reasonable arrangement of feed board structure in drying drum and high heating efficiency. All connections are fixed by the bolts, the dismantle and installation is easy and convenient. According to different types of aggregates, you can change the arrangement of lifting board and the form of material curtain and make the drying effect better. Adding insulating layer and stainless steel plate at the external surface reduces the heat consumption and improves the productivity. It has slow discharging mouth and with the characteristics of smooth and even output. We adopt imported burner and the burner has high burning efficiency, moreover, temperature sensor can adjust output power timely and achieve full automatic control. There is a depressimeter in the drying drum, which realizes the adjustment to damper of the induced draft fan, opening angle of the damper will be presented on the control panel and the system can reach the best burning state. Besides, there is thermodetector at the discharge door, the system will adjust on its own according to the feedback data and can control the discharge temperature and precision.
4. Hot aggregates lifting system. The lifting hopper has unique structure and lifts the materials vertically. The lifting structure adopts double plate chain, which can achieve smooth lifting, low transmission noise and long service lifespan. And there is keep-off otter board, which reduces the impact to discharge mouth and prolongs the service life of the vibrating screen. We adopt special brake equipment, can stop functioning at once when suddenly loses the power.
5. Hot aggregates screening system. Our screen adopts high strength manganese steel materials to weld, vibrating structure adopts biaxial eccentric, it has strong exciting force, and adopts double motor drive at both sides as driving force.
6. Vibrating screen adopts drawer type structure, and it is convenient to maintain and change the screen. And the bearing adopts oil intrusion structure design, can achieve sufficient lubrication and prolong the service life of the machine and reduce the fault of rate.
7. Mixing drum system. We improve the interval of mixing arms and the angle of the mixing blades, which enhance the capacity and improve the quality of the product. Interior lining panel adopts high strength chrome alloy casting. And asphalt is pumping into the mixing drum by the asphalt pump and can evenly cover in the aggregate surface, which is beneficial to mix evenly. 8. Weighing system.
Aggregate weighing. There is big door and small door. During the operation, open two doors at the same time, and close the big door firstly and then close the small door, which greatly improve the weighing accuracy of the aggregates and reduce the low end of its measurement and can satisfy the requirement of special process.
Powder weighing. We use screw conveyor to feed the aggregates quantificationally. The process of powders entering into the weighing hopper is under the control of butterfly bamper and it can improve the uniformity.
Asphalt weighing. Transfer asphalt continuously and circularly, which ensure the stability of asphalt flux and improve the weighing accuracy.
Recycle powder weighing. The sensor adopts three point detection.
9. Batching plant. The mainframe of batching plant adopts modular four-layer structure and it is convenient to dismantle, install and transport. And there is shock absorber isolation between vibrating screen and hot aggregate bin, which reduces or eliminates the vibration of the asphalt drum mixing plant. Between the whole weighing system and batching plant also adopts shock absorber isolation, which reduces or eliminates the effect of vibration on weighing accuracy. What’s more, there is safety barrier in the floor channel to ensure the safety of operation and operator.
10. Dust-collecting system. There are two kinds of dust-collecting methods. One is with water and another is cloth-sack-type dust removal.
Working principle of drum mix asphalt plant for sale
Asphalt drum mix plant process is the mixture unit of aggregates, powder and asphalt.
1. Aggregates. First, send the cold aggregates from the cold aggregate supply system to the drying drum through the tilted belt feeding conveyor, and in the drying drum, the cold aggregates will be heated and dried, here cold aggregate generally means break stones. After heating the cold aggregates, those aggregates will be sent to the vibrating screen and be screened according to the different diameters of aggregates. And discharge the aggregates to the hot aggregates storage bin and then discharge them into the aggregates weighing system and after the weighing, discharge the proportioned aggregates into the mixing drum. And during the aggregate lifting process there will be some dusts and these dusts will be sent to the recycling powder storehouse through the dust-collecting system.
2. Powder. Mineral powder, usually is sand, the sand will be sent to the powder bin, and mix the new powder and recycling dust up, and discharge them into the powder weighing system and after the weighing, discharge them into the mixing drum.
3. Asphalt. The asphalt will be pumped into the asphalt tank by the asphalt pump, and send the asphalt to the asphalt weighing system and after the weighing, discharge them into the mixing drum.
After all processes above is finished, mix them together according to the designated time. And then, discharge the asphalt mixture into the asphalt conveying trailer.
