Structure of twin shaft batch mixers
AIMIX twin-shaft batch mixer consists of rack, mixing device, hydraulic transmission system, inhibiting device and electrical control system.
Rack supports the whole twin shaft mixer concrete.
Mixing device including mixing drum, mixing shaft and stirring spade pieces. Stirring spade pieces are fixed on the mixing arm.
Hydraulic transmission system consists of reducer and coupler. Inhibiting device is made up of stop pin and positioning hole.
Electrical control has function of start up, inching, stop and timing.
Working process of twin-shaft concrete mixers
Reducer through coupling rotates in one direction, two sets of positive and negative shovels on the stirring shaft stir materials. Because of the angle of spiral, the material in cylinder is pushed from one side to the other when the shovel is working, which makes materials are mixed evenly.
Operational guide of twin shaft mixer batching plant
1. Before the running, check whether the rotary part and cylinder is scraped, if so, do adjustment timely.
2. Clean out the sundries in the mixing drum.
3. Limit the cylinder.
4. Press the start button, main shaft will begin to work with other shafts.
5. Twin shaft paddle mixers can stop automatically after reaching the set time.
6. When discharge concrete, should stop the twin shafts mixer, open the stop pin, press the descend button, lock tightly the stop pin and discharge materials out.
7. Press the ascend button, makes the cylinder back, position the mixing drum with stop pin.
8. When you clean the mixing drum, water can be poured into the barrel to make the shaft rotate for washing or dry sand washing.
Installation of twin shaft concrete mixers
Before the installation, engineer should check whether reducer, materials cylinder and bearing block is damaged, whether the fastener is loose, if so, tighten it. The foundation shall be a flat concrete floor. When the mixer is moved, the rope shall be tied to the rack. It shall not be tied to the mixing shaft.
